Hello, my name is Rebecca Hershock and I am a sophomore at UCF. I'm from Tampa, Fl and I'm a Biology major with hopes of going to vet school. I've been riding horses for 15 years. I started out showing quarter horses in the All-Around events mainly in Florida and Georgia. I showed quarter horses for about 10 years. I then started to show Appaloosas in only western events and have been for the past 5 years. I'm now learning how to rein and eventually hope to show in reining. Some of my accomplishments include many year end high point awards for the state of Florida and Georgia, Reserve Champion at the All American Quarter Horse Congress in Youth Trail, top 25 at the 2001 AQHYA World Show in Trail, numerous all around awards and circuit awards, 5th place at the 2004 AYA World Show in trail, 4th at the 2005 AYA World Show in Western Pleasure, and 4th in Western Equitation, 6th in Western Pleasure, and Champion in Western Riding at the 2006 AYA World Show.
