Hey everyone, my name's Maggie MacIntosh and I'm the reigning Western Team captain.  It’s shaping up to be a really exciting year and I’m looking forward to riding with my previous teammates and anyone new that joins our family.  I currently ride in the Novice Horsemanship category for the Western Team, but should bump up to Open Horsemanship and Open Reining early in the season.  I began my foray into the wonderful, addicting, and expensive world of horses as an English dressage rider.  I rode dressage for 13 years before my love of shiny things took over and I switched to Western.  I spent summer ‘08 in Colorado riding one of the lower rodeo circuits and working at a dude ranch.  After I graduate with an undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management and a Master’s in Communication I am planning on working as a public relations director for Ford Motor Company in their rodeo division.  I've dabbled in Dressage, English Pleasure, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, cow soccer, goat dressing, and even cow tipping on occasion.  Overall I've dedicated 17 years of my life to horses and an untold amount of money, so hopefully I'll be able to win UCF a few ribbons along the way :D
