Hey Everyone! My name is Alisha Mays and I am one of the Hunt Seat Team Captains this year! I'm from Tampa, FL and I am currently a senior here at UCF majoring in Legal Studies with a minor in Sociology. This is my fourth and final year with both the Equestrian Club and the Hunt Seat team but I have been riding for almost 10 years now. Before I started school at UCF, I was competing in local shows in Tampa (PCHA and SEHJ) a couple times a year in the Children's 3' Jumpers and Children's Hunters. Now that I have joined the Hunt Seat team and started riding here with Lesli, she has switched me over to an equitation rider. My sophomore year, I had the greatest riding experience of my life by being able to represent UCF at the IHSA Nationals Horse Show and placing 2nd in my class. It was something I never dreamed could happen, but being a part of this team made that possible. I look forward to having another wonderful year with the Equestrian Club and look forward to another great show season with the Hunt Seat team. Good Luck to everyone!
