Hey everyone! My name is Sam and I am from Sanford, FL. I’m a senior here and a Digital Media major. This is my second year with the club, on the Dressage Team and as a Team Captain. I have been riding now for 16 years, primarily in the Dressage discipline. I do jump on the side, but more for fun. I have shown Dressage through First Level as well as Individual Musical Freestyles and Pas de Deux. I’ve even dabbled some in Quadrilles and Drill Teams. Outside of showing I ride and train in Second and Third Level. I have competed outside of IDA on and off for about nine years in smaller, local shows. I’ve owned two horses over the years, but had to part ways with both of them for school. I am looking forward to the year and competing again with the team—I know we are going to have another successful year!
